Play runs April 11- 27

The Fourposter is a moving chronicle that features the life-span of a married couple, Agnes and Michael, in their four poster bed. Their story begins on their wedding night in 1890 and continues until they leave the house in 1925. Standing throughout the evening is their four poster bed, a silent witness to all the events that happened over the years.

Written by playwright Jan de Hartog. Jazzanne Gordon makes her directorial debut. This production is generously sponsored by Fran Westervelt.

The Drama Project

Registration now open!

The Drama Project provides summer theatre education and opportunities with professional theatre educators for children ages 5 through 18.

Classes are grouped by age, age-appropriate, and designed to build upon previous knowledge. All classes have physical movement, vocalization, pantomime, and various theatre games. On the first day of class, students will audition for: Pinocchio / Performance Dates: July 18, 19, 20 at 7:30 pm

Important Production Change:

The Legend of Georgia McBride has been canceled. The Fourposter will take its place.

There has been a change in their advertised season. Our April production of The Legend of Georgia McBride has been canceled, as we were not able to complete the casting needed. 

In its place we will produce the play The Fourposter by playwright Jan de Hartog, with Jazzanne Gordon making her directorial debut. Performances will run for three weekends April 11 through April 27, at the Hap Ryder Riverfront Theatre. This production is generously sponsored by Fran Westervelt.
