We come to know a romantically articulate playwright whose second wife is trying to merge worthy causes with her art as an actress. The New York Times said of this play: “The most bracing play anyone has written about love and marriage in years.” Let the clever fun begin!

Growing up in the 1940’s, nine year old Ralphie Parker is on a quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher and even Santa Claus himself. The delightful comedic plot elements include the family’s temperamental exploding furnace, Scut the school bully, experiments with a wet tongue on a cold lamppost, and Ralphie’s father winning a lamp shaped like a woman’s leg in a net stocking. It all adds up to a joy-filled Christmas comedy for the whole family!
